Our Seed for the Future

Policy makers from Sub-Saharan Africa discussing National Agroecology Strategies in Nairobi.

Dear Friend of Biovision

Only through collaborative efforts can we truly unlock the potential of our commitment to strengthening agroecology. Our latest projects exemplify these synergies.

From advocating for policy frameworks on agroecology to fostering close cooperation with farmers, we are working hand in hand on multiple efforts. The recently launched Agroecology Investment Guide and the development of our latest National Agroecology Strategies Brief (NASs) are examples of this collaborative approach.

At Biovision, there have been personnel changes: Since February 23, 2024, the Foundation Board has collectively assumed responsibility for the organization's governance. Dr Frank Eyhorn has left Biovision by mutual agreement. We extend heartfelt gratitude to Frank for his tremendous work. Additionally, we warmly welcome Prof Dr Christoph Studer, a longtime Biovision expert, to our Foundation Board.

Our reports on agroecology work are always an invitation. We hope you find inspiration in our endeavors to take action together, because every commitment matters.

Warm regards,

Eva Schneider
Online Editor

«It is crucial that all stakeholders are involved, that they contribute their views and opinions, and that the best possible applications are found together.»
