Dear Friend of Biovision

Biodiversity loss and climate change continue. Deforestation and monocultures are destroying natural habitats and, in turn, the diversity of species. At the same time, extreme heatwaves and droughts, as well as torrential rainfall, are sweeping across entire countries.

When faced with such enormous global challenges, we often feel powerless and tempted to give up. This is compounded by acute crises, which have also affected us as a foundation. In 2023, we had to make do with less revenue than we had hoped for.

But the past year has also shown that, with innovative and sustainable solutions and together with our partner organisations, we can achieve great progress and success even in challenging times. In Tanzania, for example, a national agroecology strategy was adopted and launched with Biovision’s support – a milestone for organic farming and for millions of smallholder farming families’ livelihoods in the country.

Our work would not be possible without your continued support. Together, we can implement measures that improve people’s living conditions, preserve biodiversity and help the climate.

I invite you to find out more about our projects in our latest annual report. Read about the impact of our work and the positive changes we have been able to achieve together.

Thank you very much for your trust and support.

With best wishes and best regards,
